NEW JERSEY: Timothy Gerome Brown allegations he engaged in sexual conduct with a 16-year-old student

Timothy Gerome Brown, 39, a para-professional and coach at Lakewood High School in Lakewood, New Jersey has been arrested and charged on allegations he engaged in sexual conduct with a 16-year-old female student.

It is alleged that on February 18th that Brown engaged in sexual conduct that impaired or debauched the morals of the victim.

Brown, accompanied by his attorney, turned himself in at police headquarters Wednesday. Brown’s bail was set at $5,000 with an option to pay 10 percent, and he was released on bond and was ordered by the municipal judge to have no contact with the alleged victim.

The Lakewood Township Board of Education voted Wednesday night to suspend Brown with pay until April 30. Brown’s attorney has reportedly indicated that he anticipates having the matter dismissed by that time. MORE
