Hunter Valley News Couples evil kidnap bid on boy

A 10-year-old boy has managed to escape from a couple who tried to abduct him in the Hunter Vally , police say.
The boy was riding his bike along Mount Hall Road at Raymond Terrace about 7pm on Monday when the chain came off his bike.
A man and woman travelling in a red sedan allegedly offered him a lift , which he refused.
Police said the man then grabbed the boy's wrist and tried to drag him into the car but the boy managed to bereak free and run away.
He told police the man was aged between 30 and 40 , of Aboriginal appearance , with black / brown short hair and short beard.
He is about 180cm tall and was wearing a gold watch.
The woman was described as being of white / European appearance , with medium length blonde hair and a stud in her nose.
The boy told police the red sedan had a NSW number plate similar to WT-645
