Kolbee R. Kearns
Kolbee R. Kearns, 24, a former teacher at Solvay High School in Solvay, New York has been charged on allegations that he had a sexual relationship with a female student.
Reportedly Kearns is charged with felony third degree rape, felony third degree criminal sexual act and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.
According to a spokesperson for the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office it is alleged that Kearns established a relationship with the girl in January and February and that the two engaged in sexual contact on several occasions.
Investigators say that there appears to have been no sexual activity occurring on the school grounds
Kearns reportedly came to the attention of police by way of a notification by school officials who said that Kearns was placed on administrative leave last Friday after the district received a tip about his alleged relationship with the student.
