Lisa Lavoie
Lisa Lavoie, 24, a first year eight-grade teacher at Maurice Donahue Elementary School in Holyoke, Massachusetts, has been arrested in West Virginia after allegedly
running away with a 15-year-old male student.
Reportedly, Lavoie and the boy were found in a motel in Morgantown, West Virginia on Monday night after apparently having been together for a week.
Lavoie came to the attention of school officials on February 13th when the boys parents informed school officials of a possible relationship between the teacher and their son.
The boy had been missing since February 16th, the start of a week-long school break. Lavoie was not missed until she failed to show up at work on Monday.
