Adam Friedman, a former teacher at a Willimantic arts magnet school already accused of carrying on a sexual relationship with a
15-year-old student at the school was arrested again over the weekend for violating the terms of his release for continuing to have contact with the girl.
Adam Friedman, 44, of Newington, was already free on $750,000 bail at the time of his arrest. Before he posted bail, a judge ordered Friedman to have no contact with the girl.
State troopers and an inspector with the state’s attorney’s office in Rockville conducted surveillance on the 15-year-old girl’s home after learning that she had had contact with Friedman, according to an arrest report.
They were watching Saturday when, according to their report, they say Friedman riding through the girl’s Hebron neighborhood in his mother’s Honda Odyssey minivan. The officers were
watching and later spoke with the girl, who admitted she’d had contact with Friedman.
