Random Question?
Does anyone know the penelty for distributing prescription drugs? I know how long it is for most other drugs, but you don't hear about these too often..

I would assume its the same sort of penality - even if they are prescribed to you, you're still illegally distributing drugs to others. JMO

The penalty would vary with the amount and class of drug. There are enhancements for damage done. It varies by state but the following should give you an idea.
http://www.druglibrary.org/schaffer/...penalties.html
Sale of any narcotics or hallucinogens other than marijuana
First offense: up to 15 years imprisonment, a $50,000 fine, or both

Not only has the drug war failed to reduce violetand property crime but,by shifting criminal justice resource(the police, courts, prisons, probation officers, etc.) away from directly fighting such crime, the drug war has put citizens' lives and property at greater risk,Benson and Rasmussen contend.
