What we all feared has been confirmed today. The bones discovered near the Anthony home, in Orange County Florida, are indeed those of little Caylee.
I know there is a candle lighting thread dedicated to our little girl, however I wanted to create a memorial here, so that all of us who kept her in our thoughts these long months may say goodbye in our own way.

Goodbye precious treasure of the Goddess. A child is a gift to help us remember what life is like as an innocent in love with happiness and spontaneity, play, joy and every dream imagined can come true. Perfect skin, sparkling eyes, bright smiles. A babies face is ecstatic in the moment of pure happiness in their own sense of self.
Playing with their toes, that sweet music that is a babies laugh, calls us to laugh with them, remembering the simple joys so easily at hand. When was the last time you played with your toes?!
Ah, we're all too grown for that now. But little treasures find happiness in all things we've long taken for granted, or forgotten to pay attention to. And as such, if we stop for a moment and watch them they shall, in that time, be our teachers. Showing us what it is like to live in wonder of all things. To be open to happiness where we find it. Even when a dust bunny happens to float from under a chair into the bright sunlight that plays on the floor.
Yet another thing to dust, we think. But for a baby, it's magick. And they'll watch that little bunny with fascinated eyes and wonder, for as long as their attention can stand. And then, it's off to something else. As they grow in our hearts and their understanding of this new world they were born into.
I watch those video's of Kaylee coloring at the kitchen table. Looking up at the camera with her little sunglasses on. Cuddling her doll. Such a precious little gift so happy to cuddle her toys, her great grandfather, to look forward to all that she could imagine as a darling little two year old.
Sadly her dreams were cut short. Now, she rests with the Angels and yet she is beloved by countless hearts who sought her out, when she was lost to us, through our prayers, our hope for the best of news, our candle vigils, our volunteer searching acre after acre and even in the waters of Florida.
You are much loved little treasure and you are greatly missed. Goddess rest and keep you eternally in sweetest dreaming, until we all meet again.
