No no Drew Peterson Engaged to 23 yr old woman!

OMG I think I'm going to be ill... WTH? Does this woman not have a brain or what?

Drew Peterson Gets Engaged While Still Married to Missing Wife
Wednesday, December 17, 2008
By Sara Bonisteel

The ex-cop who is a suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife and whose third wife died suspiciously in a bathtub is planning to walk down the aisle for a fifth time.

Drew Peterson, 54, is engaged again, his lawyer and publicist confirmed Wednesday to FOXNews.com.

Though Peterson is still married to his fourth wife, Stacy, who was 23 when she disappeared last year, he has found a new 23-year-old fiancée, he told "Drew Peterson Exposed" author Derek Armstrong Tuesday.

"The kids have met her," said Armstrong. "They like her and they know about this engagement."

Peterson has two young children, Anthony, 6, and Lacy, 4, with Stacy Peterson. The missing mom's family contends she is dead.

"Oh my God, I’m speechless," Pam Bosco, a spokeswoman for Stacy Peterson's family told FOXNews.com when informed of Drew Peterson's engagement. "History repeats itself, so I imagine that that’s the same situation he had before: He’d be involved with somebody when he was getting rid of the one before."

Armstrong said the new fiancée, whom Peterson refused to identify, lives within 15 minutes of Peterson's Bolingbrook, Ill., home. He said the couple have been dating about four months. Lawyer Joel Brodsky and publicist Glenn Selig did not identify the woman either.

Selig said the engagement happened "sometime within the last couple of days."

A sticking point for Peterson is that he is currently married.

"This is not uncommon for Drew," said Selig. "When he was married to Kathleen still, he was in the process of divorcing Kathleen when he proposed to Stacy. He’s done this before and, you know, he seems very happy."

Earlier this year, Peterson met with high-profile Chicago attorney Jeffery M. Leving, a lawyer in the Elian Gonzalez case, to see what his rights to a split might be.

Leving told FOXNews.com that Peterson had not yet filed for divorce.

Desertion for at least one year is grounds for divorce under Illinois law -- though Peterson, as the divorce petitioner, would have to show he wasn't at fault for causing his wife to leave, Leving said.

Peterson has been at the center of the investigation into the whereabouts of his wife, who vanished on Oct. 28, 2007.

After Stacy's disappearance, the body of Peterson's third wife, Kathleen Savio, was exhumed, and her 2004 bathtub drowning was re-labeled a homicide.

Earlier this year, Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow issued a statement about the Savio and Stacy Peterson cases, indicating that a special grand jury is still weighing evidence in both.

"I fully expect there to be a resolution in at least one of these investigations in the near future," Glasgow said.

Stacy Peterson's family is pinning its hopes on that resolution.

"You’ve just got to stay focused on the investigation and hope that as the Illinois state prosecutor said, that they’ll have [it] resolved soon," Bosco said.

Well Susie I see you don't bite your fingers. LOL This young woman needs a checkup and quickly. I wonder where her parents and friends are. I hope this will speed up the investigation into the deaths. I do believe Stacy is no longer breathing. This is sad.

Thumbs down

I'm the optimist that thinks she's looking to be officially wife number five, so that he can end up drowning in a dry bathtub on the honeymoon.

Report: Chicago Dad Says Waitress Daughter Is Peterson's Fiancee

Friday, December 19, 2008

Chicago father says his daughter is Drew Peterson's fiancée, though the young woman denies the claim, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Ernie Raines, 53, of Chicago said his daughter was the woman engaged to the ex-cop suspected in the disappearance of fourth wife Stacy Peterson.

"That ain't going to happen," Raines told the paper. "I'm doing everything I can to try to get her away from him. . . . I'd like to say to him: 'Stay away from my daughter, take his ring back and look for his wife before he's out trying to get another young girl.'"

His daughter Christina Raines said she isn't Peterson's fiancée, though a police source told the paper she is. The 24-year-old waitress said she and Peterson are just friends.

Stacy Peterson disappeared last year. Peterson's third wife's bathtub death was ruled a homicide after initially being deemed accidental.

On Wednesday, sources confirmed to FOXNews.com that the former Bolingbrook, Ill., officer was engaged, prompting his missing wife's family to express their shock.

"I’m shocked, but I’m not surprised," family spokeswoman Pam Bosco told FOXNews.com.

Drew Peterson, 54, refused to answer questions about the engagement in an interview with MyFOXChicago.com.

"This is something that’s very personal to me and very private, and until — I really don’t want all this coming out," he told the station.

He told MyFOXChicago.com that "the media has kind of ruined every relationship I've had, so it scares people."

Click here for more from MyFOXChicago.com.

Stacy Peterson was 23 when she disappeared from the couple's Bolingbrook home in late October, 2007. The couple have two children, Anthony, 6, and Lacy, 4.

Drew Peterson remains married, though he met with met with high-profile Chicago attorney Jeffery M. Leving — a lawyer in the Elian Gonzalez case — earlier this year to see what his rights to a split might be.

Leving told FOXNews.com that Peterson had not yet filed for divorce.

Desertion for at least one year is grounds for divorce under Illinois law — though Peterson, as the divorce petitioner, would have to show he wasn't at fault for causing his wife to leave, Leving said.

Ernie Raines told the Sun-Times his daughter met Drew Peterson at a Bolingbrook laundromat and the ex-police officer took her to the "Blue Man Group" show and promised to buy her a car.

What's up with Drew
Like it or not, Drew Peterson does find ways to remain in the spotlight.

As 2008 was winding down, and the once ubiquitous Peterson was fading from the public consciousness, word "leaked" about the 54-year-old Peterson getting engaged to a 24-year-old woman. Peterson's attorney, Joel Brodsky, and his Florida-based publicist, Glenn Selig, confirmed the rumors and said that yes, Drew was looking at getting married for the fifth time.

But Peterson and the woman identified as his betrothed, single mother of two Christina Raines of Romeoville, both denied they were getting married.

Raines' father, Ernie Raines, said his daughter was indeed the young woman planning to tie the knot with Drew Peterson. And he did not like it one bit.

So Drew Peterson has a brand-new year ahead of him. Will 2009 find him at the altar?

Peterson, whose fourth wife vanished in October 2007 and third wife was the victim of an unsolved March 2004 homicide, also remained a free man despite legislation many believe was crafted and passed specifically to put him behind bars.

The new statute allows hearsay testimony to be introduced in murder trials under special circumstances.

Authorities claim Peterson mystery will be resolved

January 2, 2009
By DAN ROZEK Sun-Times News Group

The new year should bring new information that will help investigators determine what happened to at least one of Drew Peterson's wives, Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow said Tuesday.

Though Glasgow made a similar, still-unfulfilled prediction two months ago, he remains upbeat that authorities will solve the 2007 disappearance of Stacy Peterson and the 2004 drowning death of Kathleen Savio.

"I'm very positive. I'm very encouraged by the work the police have done," said Glasgow, speaking about the cases for the first time in several months. "We are not at a dead end by any stretch of the imagination."

A grand jury that for 14 months has been probing Stacy Peterson's disappearance and Savio's death will resume hearing evidence next month, Glasgow confirmed.

"It'll be meeting next year," Glasgow said of the grand jury, which also has heard evidence in the April 2007 still-unsolved disappearance of Plainfield mom Lisa Stebic.

In October -- near the one-year anniversary of Stacy Peterson's disappearance -- Glasgow said he expected a resolution to at least one of the cases in the "near future." He wouldn't clarify that timetable Tuesday.

Drew Peterson -- a 54-year-old ex-Bolingbrook cop who has been named a suspect in Stacy's disappearance -- isn't worried about the lengthy investigation because he's done nothing wrong, his attorney said.

"Mr. Glasgow is a fine state's attorney but he can't make a case where none exists," attorney Joel Brodsky said. "There's no evidence that ties Drew to Kathleen's death or Stacy's disappearance."

Official hints at new Peterson evidence
Published: Dec. 31, 2008 at 12:26 PM

JOLIET, Ill., Dec. 31 (UPI)
-- An official in Will County, Ill., says the new year should bring about new evidence in the cases of former police officer Drew Peterson's last two wives.

Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow said the potential new information could possibly aid police in their investigation of Stacy Peterson's 2007 disappearance and the death of Kathleen Savio in 2004, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Wednesday.

"I'm very positive. I'm very encouraged by the work the police have done,'' Glasgow said Tuesday. "We are not at a dead end by any stretch of the imagination.''

Glasgow confirmed the grand jury investigating both cases during the last 14 months will meet in January.

The attorney's comments come months after Glasgow predicted in October that a resolution to one of the cases was likely to come about in the near future, the Sun-Times said.

The newspaper said Drew Peterson, a former police officer in Bolingbrook, Ill., has been a person of interest in the cases of Savio and Stacy Peterson, his third and fourth wives respectively.

Drew Peterson's girlfriend has moved in with him, friends and family members say
Christina Raines' father has filed reports with Bolingbrook police to request well-being checks

By Erika Slife | Tribune reporter
January 13, 2009

Drew Peterson's latest love interest has moved in with him, according to distraught friends and family members of the 23-year-old mother of two. "It's unbelievable," said Joe Raines, the uncle of Peterson's alleged fiance, Christina Raines. "I don't get it, but what are you going do? She's an adult."

Peterson is the 55-year-old former Bolingbrook police sergeant who is the sole suspect in the disappearance of his current wife, Stacy. Authorities are also re-examining the mysterious death of Peterson's third wife, Kathleen Savio, who was found dead in an empty bathtub in her home in 2004.

Peterson has denied involvement in both cases.

The cases have captured the media spotlight, and Peterson's appetite for women—especially younger ones—has snared headlines and been the subject of blogs and radio talk shows. He once entertained the idea of participating in a "Win a Date with Drew" contest, and one of his former girlfriends, a 22-year-old tanning salon employee, was called to testify before the grand jury that is investigating his wives' cases.

The investigation of Stacy Peterson's disappearance raised eyebrows. She is his fourth wife and was only 23 when she disappeared.

Peterson declined to comment Monday on his new living arrangement but did joke that Raines "won the lottery . . . a Drew lottery."

"She got to be with me," he said. The notion has Raines' family members worried. Her father, Ernie Raines, filed several reports with the Bolingbrook Police Department over the weekend requesting well-being checks on his daughter, and to also document that his daughter had moved in with Peterson, Lt. Ken Teppel said.

Woman believed to be Drew Peterson’s fiancee moves in

Posted Jan 13, 2009 @ 02:33 PM
BOLINGBROOK, Ill. —

The 23-year-old alleged fiancé of Drew Peterson has reportedly moved in with him.

Christina Raines and her two children made the move during the weekend, according to Derek Armstrong, author of Drew Peterson Exposed.

Peterson, 54, is the sole suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy, who was 23 when she went missing Oct. 28, 2007. He is also under suspicion for the March 2004 drowning of his third wife, Kathleen Savio.

Peterson has denied involvement and has not been charged in either case.

Earlier this month, Peterson confirmed his engagement to Raines through his publicist. News of the engagement and move-in sent shocks of nervousness through her friends and family.

Bolingbrook police received at least five calls throughout the weekend regarding the Peterson home, according to Lt. Ken Teppel.

On Thursday, Raines’ father, Ernie, called police to check on the home after hearing Raines’ ex-boyfriend Mike may be stalking the home.

“We went over there and Drew said don’t worry about it, I know Mike, I’ll take care of it,” Teppel said.

During the next three days, Ernie Raines made several phone calls requesting well-being checks on his daughter when he couldn’t get a hold of her. He later called to tell police he had received a text from her confirming the move-in and he asked police to document the move.

Teppel said police explained to Raines that his daughter was an adult and they could not keep checking on the young woman without a particular reason.

“We empathize with (his) situation, but we can’t go in there and drag her out,” Teppel said.

Drew Peterson’s 24-Year-Old Fiancé Moves In After Stalking Incident
Young woman moves into Stacy Peterson’s bedroom.
kunati.com - January 14, 2009

(PRNewsChannel) / Bolingbrook, Ill. /
After an alleged stalking incident, Christina Raines moved in with Drew Peterson over the weekend, bringing her two young children with her. “I couldn’t be happier,” Drew Peterson said in an exclusive interview with author Derek Armstrong, author of Drew Peterson Exposed.

Christina Raines gave a comment through Peterson, “I don’t want to speak with the media.” But she confirmed the move was precipitated by a confrontation with her ex-boyfriend and that she’s “happy moving in.”

In a previous story on Friday, Derek Armstrong—who continues to investigate the case—reported that police visited Drew Peterson after his fiancé’s ex-boyfriend was reported as allegedly stalking them.

In the previous interview, Peterson indicated it was possible Christina would “move in.” Now, Raines has moved in to the master bedroom at the home on Pheasant Chase Court, a Bolingbrook address made infamous by the disappearance of Drew Peterson’s wife Stacy, who is also in her 20s.

Drew Peterson, who turned 55 the weekend before last said “I don’t care what people think. I love Chrissie. I love her kids. The incident with her ex-boyfriend just accelerated our plans,” in a comment disturbingly similar to a comment made for the book Drew Peterson Exposed. In an interview for the book, he had said, “I don’t care what people think. I love Stacy. I’m happy.”

In the latest interview, Peterson told Armstrong that he had plenty of room in the house for Christina and two more kids. He said his four children get along very well with her two children. “Lacy and Anthony are about the same age as Chrissie’s two kids. And my kids adore Chrissie.” This also hauntingly mirrors a comment in the book Drew Peterson Exposed, when he said, “My kids adore Stacy,” at that time referring to Kris and Tommy, children by his third wife Kathleen.

Armstrong broke the story Friday after a police conducted a “welfare check” to Peterson’s house when it was reported that Christina’s ex-boyfriend Michael L. Siuda, Jr. admitted he had peered in Drew Peterson’s windows and was stalking her. “He told Christina on the phone, and she told her father. Her father called the police.

Explaining why she moved in, Peterson said, “Either we get an order of protection against Mike—I believe he already has an order of protection from a previous girlfriend—or we move in together where I can protect her,” Drew Peterson said.

In the earlier interview, taped Friday—prior to the move—Peterson said of the ex: “This guy is insanely jealous. He won’t leave her alone. A couple of nights ago he was abusive enough that she had to leave their shared apartment with her two children.” Peterson also described an event about a month ago at a public bar where ex-boyfriend Mike physically pulled her away from Peterson. “He can get physical and he’s definitely verbally abusive. He even stole the token ring I gave Chrissie when I proposed.” Peterson also mentioned the ex-boyfriend has been tracking her with GPS on a cell-phone he gave her, and intercepting text messages from Peterson to Christina.

The new live-in arrangement MAY upset many who have followed the suspicious disappearance of fourth wife Stacy Peterson on October 28, 2007, says Armstrong. Although they are still married, on the first anniversary of her disappearance Peterson consulted a high-profile divorce attorney about a divorce based on “abandonment.” Peterson’s third wife Kathleen Savio was found dead in her bathtub, and Drew Peterson remains a person of interest in this case, now ruled a “homicide” after a new autopsy at the request of Savio’s family. At the time of Kathleen’s death, Stacy had moved in with Drew.

In the book Drew Peterson Exposed, Armstrong also described Peterson’s many younger girlfriends and wives, from his early days as a military police officer through to his resignation as a sergeant of the Bolingbrook Police after Stacy’s disappearance. Many of those intimate stories offer disconcerting similar to his current relationship. When asked about all his stories of younger women—peppered throughout the explosive book—Peterson just said, “That was then. It has nothing to do with Chrissie.”

When Armstrong asked what Peterson thought neighbors and the media would think about another woman, half his age, moving in, perhaps even sleeping Stacy’s bed—while still married to Stacy—he said, “I don’t care. It’s our life. Stacy left me. I have to move on with my life.”

The full taped interview covers Peterson’s thoughts on his children, the new larger family, his opinion of Christina’s ex-boyfriend and father, and other explosive details.

Today In Douchenozzles: Drew Peterson "Lucky In Love"

We thought we were going to make it through the week without anything cringe-inducing but unfortunately Drew Peterson had other plans. In an interview with WBBM's Steve Miller, Peterson described the extended family with fiance Christina Raines as "harmonious bliss." Peterson hasn't filed for divorce from dead missing wife Stacy yet so he hasn't set a wedding date for future ex-wife #5. When asked if Raines was confident Peterson was innocent of any wrongdoing in the death of ex-wife Kathleen Savio and the disappearance of current wife Stacy, Drew said no.

WBBM: Do you think the story of what happened to your third wife, Kathleen, and Stacy's disappearance, do you think that troubles Chrissy at all?

Drew: I think early on it did, but after she got to know me, she looks at me and she says no way. No way.

WBBM: Meaning "no way" what?

Drew:That I was responsible for either of these things. Her missing and Kathleen's death.

Peterson called himself, "lucky in cards, lucky in love." Yes. One ex-wife dead of homicide and another missing for over a year. What "luck."

Drew Talks About His, Hers and Theirs

NBCChicago.com
updated 9:47 a.m. PT, Tues., Jan. 20, 2009

Drew Peterson told WBBM radio's Steve Miller that "there is harmonious bliss at the Peterson household" since his new girlfriend and her two children moved into his home.

Christina Raines, 24, has been in Peterson's Bolingbrook home for almost a week and she's still there. That's good news.

"I've been lucky ... in cards and lucky in love," he said. "To have the love of a young, beautiful woman is a very special thing."

The former Bolingbrook police sergeant said that the Raines' children get along well with his kids, and that the two of them are planning to get married "somewhere down the road."

Miller asked if Peterson had given Raines an engagement ring. Drew said no, but that he had given her a pair of earrings for Christmas. A jeweler friend will be consulted about an engagement ring at some point, he said.

"We'll have to see how life folds out," he said of their wedding plans.

Peterson told the interviewer that his gal pal is a little scared.

"She's not scared of me. She's scared of the media," he said.

Miller asked about problems Christina has had with her ex-boyfriend and the father of her children, "two different guys," he said.

"Yea, two different guys," Peterson said. "Both have been abusive to her in the past, and now she's with me."
