Corey Grayson
An arrest warrant has been issued for a former Pebblebrook High School teacher charged with enticing a child for sex.
Corey L. Grayson, 32, of Duluth, is accused of soliciting a 15-year-old student in the school’s bleachers last week, according to the warrant. Grayson reportedly asked the student to write down “what she wanted him to do to her” on a piece of paper and put her number and address on it, according to the arrest warrant.
Cobb school officials confirmed that Grayson recently resigned, but declined to provide further details. According to the school’s Web site, Grayson had been a member of the Mableton High School’s physical education department, coached freshman basketball and was an assistant volleyball coach. As of Thursday afternoon, he had not been booked in the county jail, according to sheriff’s office spokeswoman Nancy Bodiford.
