On CNN right now they are reporting that Caylee's body has been found - in a garbage bag sealed with duct tape - funny that they also found garbage bags in the back of mom's car

Fox News is reporting that a utility worker found the body about 1/4 mile from the Anthony's home, just around the corner. The remains are in a plastic bag that was duct taped. Hopefully more forensic evidence can be obtained.

We all knew this precious little girl is dead, but I never thought her body would be found. Maybe George and Cindy will now be forced into the real world. Unbelievably sad but she can now rest in peace. A sweet, beautiful girl none of us ever met, but fell in love with.

Thankyou Snoop for the link. I feel sick physically that that poor childs remains were found in a garbage bag. I saw the Anthonys on Larry King last night and they blamed everyone including Nancy Grace for all the negative press on the case which I found disturbing. That poor beautiful baby girl.

Has this been confirmed for sure?
Common sense tells me who else could it be?
I am in NY and saw the short report on television.
I also went to the Orlando Sentinal Newspaper link, but no real confirmation has been made yet.
Have I missed something? This feels like torture to me.

How much does everyone want to bet the Anthonys will deny Casey killed Caylee if the body is Caylees, that someone is trying to frame Casey maybe Zenaida killed Caylee . All Caylee sightings can be discredited if the body found is Caylees .

My husband just called me from work to tell me he'd heard they may have found Caylee. I flipped on the news. I'm in total shock. I never thought she'd be found, especially so close to the Anthony's home.

I am sure you are correct - they will still remain in denial - however, if there are fingerprints on the duct tape or the bag, or if the duct tape matches a roll at the Anthony home, or if the garbage bag matches the one found in the back of Casey's car - they are going to have some big hurdles to jump to try and prove it wasn't Caley - isn't it eerie that Caley kept saying that she "had a feeling Caylee was nearby" - she knew all along just how close that baby was to her home -

Yes it was very creepy CrimeLibrarian. Even if fingerprints on tape or bag show Casey as the murderer I bet the Anthonys will try to blame Caseys boyfriend. They have already tried to implicate him to the disappearance of Caylee and remember that Adult Website found on the Anthonys computer that they were trying to blame on someone else. I don't buy the fact that Casey worked at that club where she was schmoozing with that other chick to advertize the club as Cindy Anthony said on Larry King last night.
This family is so disfunctional its unbelievable and the only true victim of its disfunction is a precious little girl who couldn't protect herself from her killer.

I listened to CNN Headline on my way home today, and they were discussing the case. Things I remember hearing are:

1. The body is most likely all just a skeleton, which means anything except obvious signs of trauma -- like certain blunt trauma or a gunshot wound -- will be hard to determine. Figuring out if chloroform was used will be pretty much impossible under the circumstances.

2. It might be 'a week or two' before the DNA tests are run (though it could take longer, normally it does). The remains are being sent up to Quantico for testing, and they've been designated as a priority. Supposedly people will be working over the weekend if it will make things go faster.

3.Cindy Anthony's house has been designated a crime scene and is being re-investigated. I heard they took some trash bags from the house. If that's true, they're probably trying to match up bag types, or lot numbers, or something like that if possible.

4. Leonard Padilla thinks that Casey will just continue her Zenaida story, and say something like, "Look, it's true, the child was taken from the park and Zenaida put her there because it was close!"

5. The water meter who found the body was supposedly going 20 or 30 feet away from the sidewalk and into a lightly wooded area, to an area where there were no water meters, because he was taking a leak. Good thing he had to go and was saving time!

Thankyou Lord, now we can lay this sweet little child who has touched all of our hearts, to rest! I pray for the Anthony's this must be just heartbreaking for them and even though I have disagreed with the defense of their daughter I never wished this for them. My heart goes out to them in this time of need!

i believe we have found the remains of little caylee, a little angel who now rest in the hands of our lord. i know for me this case has my heart broken for a little girl wh did not get a chance to enjoy being a child a having the love of a parent who should have given everything to take care of caylee. no child or a person should have their lives cut short because the parent feels their child is in their way.yes i am angry that this happened, because it could have been some other way than committing murder. the children is supposed tobe our future . our children should be protected from monsters who want to hurt them.right now as i right this my eyes are feeling up with tears for this little angel whom everyone has comed to know. as i end this i just want to say enough is enough

He called on August 11, 12, & 13. Then finds the bag? On 8/13 he met the police there. Why out of the blue before trial does it reappear in an area that has been searched before? Bizarre!

Kronk doesn't creep me out but I find his story a little odd. After the discovery of Caylee's skeleton it was reported that he went into the woods to relieve himself, he sees a bag and kicks it. A skull rolls out. Later it is reported that this is the same bag he had seen before. The odd part is that when he called in the three times in august, he never specifically mentioned a bag. The media has reported that the bag was black. In the first call Kronk said he saw something white and it was something that didn't look like it belonged there. He also said he wasn't saying it is Caylee, he just wants to say what he saw. In a different call he says he saw something white and round and looked suspicious. He said he wanted to stay anonymous because he was a city employee and was concerned they might find a freaking body. When did he go into the woods to relieve himself? The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th time? When did he first kick the black bag? What was the round white object he had seen in August? After reporting what he had seen in August, why did he keep calling back unless he was very sure it was a body? Why didn't he just assume that it was checked out and found to be nothing. Was it because he knew what it was but for some reason he couldn't bring himself to say it? On December 11, Kronk's supervisor called in the report that a skull had been found. Was Kronk stilll unable to admit to authorities what he had found? I'm not accusing Kronk of any crime, but I would like to know the whole story of his many trips to the swamp.
