OJ Simpson: Selective and Vindictive Prosecution?
When the judge sentences OJ Simpson to prison today it won't be the end, it will be but another chapter in the continuum of the denigrating psychic effect of the 1995 trial. If the Clark County Prosecutor knew in advance of the trial that the charges were to include the most heinous offense of kidnapping then it is incomprehendable how a prosecutor could allow an offender, Tom Riccio, immunity from prosecution. Riccio, helped planned the "kidnapping", lured the "kidnap" victims to a specific location, taped the "kidnapping", participated in the "kidnapping", and subsequently gloated about the "kidnapping" at an after party. For him to be given immunity is onerous and brings into question the bias of the prosecution. The Clark County D.A.'s reckless litigation, is a stain on the integrity of Clark County, Nevada and now hopefully will become the basis for a Simpson/Stewart appeal based upon Selective and Vindictive Prosecution, imo.
As long as the 1995 trial and its concealed evidence hangs over the public Simpson cannot receive a fair trial anywhere in the USA, imo.
