Michael Dupont
A western New York teacher accused of sexually abusing a 14-year-old boy more than six years ago is now facing more charges.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Department charged Michael Dupont with three counts of second-degree sodomy in October. The arrest stemmed from incidents in April and May 2002.
Forty-2-year-old Dupont is a 7th grade science teacher in the Salamanca School District.
Since his October arrest, a police investigation has found several more apparent victims. Dupont is now also accused of having sexual contact with a 13-year-old boy in 2002 and with another 13-year-old boy in August.
Authorities have also charged him with several counts in connection with showing pornographic materials to several 12- and 13-year-old boys in 2007.
