Tina Schlegel
Tina Schlegel, whose age is reported as either 28 or 37, a substitute teacher at Pickering High School, in Leesville, Louisiana has been arrested on allegations that she had sex with three male students.
It is alleged that Schlegel engaged in sexual activity with three boys, one who is 16-years-old and two who are 15-years-old. It is further alleged that the sexual activity took place at Schlegel’s residence.
Schlegel is initially facing one felony count of carnal knowledge of a juvenille with additional charges possible.
Schlegel reportedly came to the attention of school administrators via complaints from parents and rumors of her alleged illicit relationship with a 15-year-old male student. The school principal questioned two students about see if the allegations were just a rumor or if they were plausible and reportedly determined that they were plausible. The principal then contacted the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office which initiated an investigation.
Sheriff’s officers reportedly questioned several students and at the request of parents did not question others during the course of their investigation.
As a result of their investigation, the Sheriff’s officers arrested Schlegel on the initial count alleging felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile, one of the 15-year-old boys.
Following her arrest Schlegel was released on $2,500 bond.
Schlegel faces the possibility of up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
