Bijon Savero Watson
A high school music teacher was sentenced today to 90 days in jail after being convicted of molesting a 16-year-old student in his campus office.
Bijon Savero Watson, 40, of Santa Ana will also be on formal probation for five years and will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. He was convicted of three misdemeanor counts of annoyance for molesting the student on May 22.
Watson was the director for the jazz program at the Orange County School of the Arts, a middle and high school combination campus in Santa Ana. He met the victim through the music program when she was 12.

In October 2006, when the victim was 16, Watson kissed and fondled her in his office. He later asked her to orally copulate him in his office and sent text messages to her about engaging in sexual conversations.
