the story of delimar cuevas

has anyone heard about this? i think it happened a few years ago but someone was telling me about it today..apparently a little girl got abducted when she was really young and was believed to have been dead, and by some freak coincident the mother was at a party 6 years later and she thought a teen there might be her daughter. She put gum in her hair and got a dna test and sure enough, it was. Pretty insane. Is there a book about this? anyone else farmiliar?

Thats it!! Thtas the story I was talking about. Its pretty crazy right.. Youd think things like that would only happen in movies. I wonder if there is a book with this and other crimes like it in it, that would definately be an interesting read.

I really hope that the movie depicts the story well. The story itself is hard to wrap my head around. I can't believe the mother found her daughter that way... talk about mother's instinct.

Crazy mother's instinct for sure! I'm pretty excited for this movie. It's actually on the Lifetime Movie Network not the Lifetime channel if you're planning on watching it. The trailer looks promising: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cl59ufRJFo8
