Intuition
Hi, everyone, just wanted to ask if you lot believe in intuition, my sister has this boyfriend and for some reason, do not ask me what, I just do not like him. She has been seeing him for about 2/3 years and from the getgo he has got his feet well and truly under the table even at my parents house why is it only I feel this way? is it me with the problem? I am just waiting for him to mess things up, which i am pretty sure he will.!

I absolutely believe in intuition. I don't think humans comprehend yet all the ways in which we perceive our surroundings.
There've been many instances in my life where I've ignored my intuition, only to later kick myself for doing so.
I have a situation very much like yours, Lynn, with my BIL. I employ some killer passive-aggression, which is fun for me, but not overtly confrontational

I also believe in it Lynn. Have been able to use it many times in fact and also mad at myself when I did not listen to it.

Interestingly, the Behaviorial Science Unit of the FBI considers intuition to be one of the greatest assets applicants can have.
I have noticed intuition to be lacking in many who share an interest in crime solving, and without it, they generally seem to find themselves going down the wrong path toward unveiling the real perp.

I definitely believe in it. If your getting "bad" vibes form this person then it's happening for a reason. How does he treat your sister?

Thankyou, Nirrek, sara and evening2, for replying. Its not that he is horrible to her or anything quite the opposite, he is [u]too[u]nice(if anyone can be too nice). He just got too friendly with the parents with my brother even my kids think he is fabulous,,,,,,, every one does except me, i will not let my kids be anywhere on their own with him, he wants to take them to a football match, NO WAY. There was one time before he moved in with my sister, which he did rather too quickly for my liking, when his flat was burgled he said he had a significant amount of money which was taken but would not sy how much, suspicious, ithink so. I have told my mum I do not like him, but not my sister she is the happiest she has been in a long time., which my brother says, as long as she is happy thats all that matters, I just cannot shake this feeling.

The frustrating part Lynn is I am not sure there is a thing you can do about it. If you told your sister your feelings she would get angry and probably not believe you if she is that happy. Good to hear you will not let your kids go off with him.

Well I guess I would not be able to smile too much but I am sorry you are in this situation and I hope it ends soon.

Try to be cordial <sp?> to him to keep the peace at least for now. If he is hiding something he will slip up eventually.

Intuition
Trust it!! Does your sister have any kids? I feel the same way about my twins husband, she married him two years ago. I dislike him intensely. I don't know why? I have tried to like him. he is not mean, helps her out, does everything for her, but my gut dislikes him! I hve learned that my instinct is never wrong.
Keep us posted.
