Unsolved murder summer of 2007
A real estate agent friend of mine was murdered while showing a house in Bowie MD. It was very different than real estate murders in history in that he was murdered in the basement and his vehicle was taken and burned up a half a mile from the site of the murder. Some people think it was a contract killing...the police pretty much have fallen short in their investigation. Which is a shame, he left two young kids without a father. Samuel D'Costa was of Bangladesh Culture and a christian and a business man. He owned a seven eleven, a Jerry's Pizza and was in the Real Estate Agent service, with the goal to open his own brokerage once he served as an agent for 2 years.
The murder occurred at a home that was his personal listing, and all of his signs show a photograph as well as his name and contact information. It was heavily publicized last year during the weekend of Memorial Day...It will be a year in a months time. I am writing this because the family has attempted to hire private investigators to assist in the case, but because the case is open Prince George's Police will not provide him with his case file. He has supposedly uncovered some things in his investigation that the Prince George's Police dept won't even review or take into consideration. Their belief is that he was murdered by a couple of young punks...then why take the car and burn it up??? If there are any investigators out their who could advise me in how to help the investigator or make the PG Police Investigator take notice of what has been found. We would like someone to be brought to justice for this early death - he was only 34 years old and had done so much and his family are having a hard time connecting to this untimely death and moving on without knowing that someone has been caught, charged...there is also a concern that whomever is out there might not be done...when you aren't sure who committed the murder and why = there is a fear of are they done???
Any advice would be great.
Thanks.
