Has anyone every heard the theory that Patty Hearst was not kidnapped but was hidden at the family estate in Northern California by her father?

No, but it's kind of hard to place her there when she was obviously in the robbery pics. Unless her family staged that, too. IMO

I have heard that she willingly participated in the robberies however after that she was held at the family estate in Northern CA while her family worked out a deal was worked out to get her a lenient prison sentence. I was told she was seen in the town of McCloud while she was supposedly being held hostage.

Never heard this at all. At the time I remember the thought was she was brainwashed, suffering from Stockholm Syndrome and/or in fear of her life when she helped in those robberies.

Here is how this came about. I was looking at some pictures of the Hearst Family estate at Wyntoon. Pretty soon I am corresponding with with the photographer. He claims Patty Hearst uncle told him about Patty being hid there by her father. Kind of interesting but on the other hand the guy might just be a wacko. I can find no other information on this theory.
