Hummus recipe for mishelle

Hummus

1 small bottle of cooked chickpeas rinsed
1 clove garlic
2 tablespoons of TAHINI sauce its sesame paste
salt
pepper
a few drops of virgin olive oil you can buy small bottles.
Add all in blender and puree and a very small drop of water to help it become creamy not watery.
serve on a plate and pour a few drops of olive oil on top of the sauce and chopped parsley as well as 6 chickpeas chopped to decorate.

There is also another recipe we enjoy at home that is yummy!

Baba ganouj

1 medium sized unpeeled aubergine prick the aubergine with a fork
roast in oven approx. 20 to 25 mins.
once roasted peel it, put in blender along with salt pepper
1 or half a clove of garlic
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 tablespoon of tahini and blend together as in hummus.
water not needed as aubergine is watery.

let me know how it comes out, its worth making at home as the flavour is far more delicious than the ready made varieties of either dishes

Many of the people that I know who make this, roast it over an open flame if possible.
