I must admit that when I heard (on the news) the name peterson in relation to another disappearance, that grabbed my attention straightaway.

Then I thought i heard that the child was named Laci (except it's spelled differently, as in Lacey)

That was just too weird for words.

But I don't think Drew Peterson looks anything like Scott Peterson, at all. DP looks mostly like he's been dragged out of a sleep of a hundred years with those bulgy eyes and all... and taking a video camera to film the news crew while he knew he was being filmed himself didn't do him any favours. He just looked... well, you know. Granted, SP did similarly stupid things, but I don't think he was so "in your face" as much as DP seemes to have been. I think his legal counsel have pulled the plug on that behaviour, because I haven't seen any of it lately

That makes absolutely no difference to the fact that I think Stacy Peterson met a similar fate to Laci Peterson and that she'll find a way to get her killer caught, like Laci did, IMO.

I agree totally Lili. I have heard newscasters recently call her Laci instead of Stacy which is kind of weird

Have you? I haven't heard that, but then I only watch Fox for international news. But... I'm not surprised about the name confusions. It's just so uncanny. And so sad, in both cases, IMO.

When my DH and I first saw the news, he asked me whether the name was Laci and I said no, it was Stacy. But then I heard the name Laci (phonetic) mentioned (as Stacy's daughter Lacey) and I thought... oh, my God - not again.

I hope Laci helps Stacy to surface from wherever she's at and bring her murderer to justice.
