Woman and 2 Sons Found Stabed To Death
3 Found Dead in Dallas Home
DALLAS (AP) — A woman and her two sons were found stabbed to death at a Dallas home and her two teenage daughters were found bound and gagged in a closet, police said. The woman's husband remained at large Sunday. A capital murder warrant was issued Saturday for Robert Sparks, 33. Family members said Sparks was the woman's longtime boyfriend and that the two got married earlier this year.
The girls were taken to a hospital and released, police said. They did not release their names or the nature of their injuries.
"They have been through an extremely traumatic experience," said Lt. Vernon Hale, a police spokesman.
Authorities identified the victims as Chare Agnew, 30; Raeqwon Agnew, 10; and Harold Sublet, 9.
Officers found the family Saturday morning while answering a 911 call about a possible stabbing.
On Sunday, police received a call saying Sparks had returned to the scene and kicked in the door. Officers found the door kicked in and secured the site until SWAT members arrived. No one was found inside the home, Hale said.
Sparks has previously been arrested in Dallas County on suspicion of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, assault and evading arrest, according to county records.
