Help! Need Best Prison Escapes in America!
Hello everyone. I am writing a 15 page paper for a criminal justice course, and I would like to write it on the best or most shocking or notorious prison escapes in America, possibly from the last 50 years. I am wondering if anyone knows of a good site, or resource to find this information. I found a wikipedia page, but would not be able to use it as a reliable source. I need ideas of interesting and bold escapes to research, can anyone think of some?
I thought of:
1. Ted Bundy, escaped twice from U.S. prisons
2. Frank Abagnale, escaped from all sorts of places including a U.S. prison
Thanks for your help guys!

I love America's Most Wanted except that it often makes me angry. That's because they are sometimes looking for a fugitive who has escaped several times.

Bobbi Parker, wife of deputy prison warden who vanished 10 years ago in Oklahoma with a prison escapee who was serving life sentence for murder, is found living with him in Campti, Tex; says escapee, Randolph Dial, held her captive and she stayed with him out of fear for her family; is reunited with husband; tip generated by America's Most Wanted television show leads law enforcement officials to Dial

You may try the female dog trainer who helped an inmate escape from Leavenworth, KS. I think her first name is Toby.
There is also a prison guard in Cameron, MO who walked her inmate boyfriend out the front door of the prison in 2000 or so.
