Jena Six Petition
Justice for the Jena 6
The lives of six young black men are being ruined by Jim Crow justice in Jena, Louisiana.
The District Attorney has refused to protect the rights of Jena's Black population and has turned the police and courts into instruments of intimidation and oppression.
We can help turn things around by making it a political liability for the authorities of Jena to continue the racist status quo, and by forcing the Governor of Louisiana to intervene.

This is just flat out wrong imo.
With justice must come the appearance of fairness.

I think that little town of Jena has bitten off more than they can chew. This case is generating so much publicity the officials will have to back down and do the right thing, imo. Sadly, those poor teens lives have already forever been affected. This is just so sad, today I am ashamed to be of the same race as those who have perpetrated this travesty.

Thanks for posting these links. I will sign the petion and have already written my letter. So has my son, daughter and husband. 
There are also alot of celebrities (black and white) involved in this case and are reported to be there on Sept 20th the day of the sentencing.
