Perpetrator climaxing while attacking a cop.

It was early 1990 when I attended a shooting late one night in the industrial area where I served as a police officer.

The perpetrator doused his unfaithful wife in kerosene and tried to set her alight. She fled and contacted the police.

A uniformed police sergeant confronted the man and attempted to arrest him when the man fled on foot. The sergeant gave chase, also on foot, and they ended up in an ally between a tall building and an eight foot wall without no exit.

Pistol drawn the sergeant told the man to lie down upon which the man charged the police officer with on hand cocked above his head in a threatening manner. The sergeant retreated while yelling at the man to stand still but they man kept rushing on.

After two warning shots the sergeant shot the man, but it had no effect. He then shot him another 4 times before the perp went down.

I photographed and processed the scene, and when we rolled the deceased over, we found a very long screw driver lying under his body.

The next morning I attended the post mortem and when the attendants undressed the perp, evidence was clear that the man actually climaxed during his charge of the police sergeant.

My question is this: The human sex drive being the strongest drive/urge that we have, it could be that a sexual high at that point in time, in the face of danger and/or certain death, caused this particular perpetrator to keep on charging.

I have never discussed this before and I do not particularly like remembering it, but I need to understand it.

My guess is that the ejaculation occurred during the time he was dousing his ex wife, and attempting to light her up. I have read that arsonists obtain sexual gratification from setting fires, and a sadist would definitely be aroused.

Hi Everyone,

Alot of serial killer get off to killing,so say while they are strangling are stabbing etc. This is actual the reason they can not stop.Its not the actual sex part of it they get off on its the kill.

That's true. The unique thing in this case is that the killer was killed before he could change his underwear. Most serial killers are not killed after making a kill, so this is the first time I can recall hearing that one actually had an orgasm during his episode. It is an interesting phenomena....
