Thanks for letting us know, Psyche. TG, you heard he has letters? That could be really interesting! Last night on the Biography channel at 10:00 was a show about Scott. There was a little footage I had not seen before, but the rest was pretty much the same thing we have all seen more than once. Jackie made a comment about how they would have had 10 more kids had they known how wonderful Scott was going to turn out. I just burst out laughing when I heard that comment. Yep, 10 more murderers, eh? 
Snoop, since I'll probably forget to watch it, I'll be over to watch it with you.

Hello everyone. New here. I saw the same thread on CTV and sparked my interest. I'm no expert on the case mind you. I notice that in all the years that have passed, no one could prove Scott didn't kill Laci & Conner. It's impossible, he's guilty.

I can't imagine what kind of "new" information this show will have.
I'm wondering why all the renewed interest in Scott lately. I watched Anne Bird's interview last week (rerun from the interview around the time her book was released). I missed the special on Discovery and there's another special Monday night. Is something going on that I may have missed?

Hey Sun I just caught the commercial. It said Abrams has "startling new information on ISP from an insider..." then it cut to a person in shadow. They also said they had "twisted fan mail" ISP recieves to discuss. I can say this, it got my attention.
The GOOD news is, I'm on the E. Coast so I can let you know if it's earth-shattering or not hours before you get it.

Well Otter, I do believe we'll be watching at the same time - 9:00 here. My feeling on the "mystery insider" is it's significant. I don't see Abrams as a drama, make a mountain-out-of-a-mole-hill type reporter. He's about as straight a shooter as one can get. As for the "twisted fan mail" ISP recieves, well..........do they think he'd attract NORMAL people? I'm not clear what that's about, and how did they get his mail? I am so curious, you can't imagine.

My guess is the insider is a family member. Who else could it be? Inmate interviews are not allowed, are they?
Someone who is working for the Ps could not disclose information...without getting fired...or authorization from them. To do so would be professional suicide, IMO.
Certainly an employee of San Quentin would be fired for giving unauthorized information....who else could it be? Besides "the real killer."

Thanks for the heads up Cyn! I'm gonna make my best effort to try and watch, but if someone could post the salient info from the show, that would be appreciated.
I thought I heard that California was looking to ease the restrictions on the media's access to cons in prison, allowing them interview materials not previously allowed in. I'm wondering if this translates into access to fellow inmates not previously granted? At any rate, they are criminals after all, we all know two things about them. They never lie and they are all innocent. So if it's info from inmates, unless it is corroborated, it should likely be taken with a grain of salt.
One more thing...wasn't Abrams one of the first to bring Dalton to the public? I hope whatever he has tonight is a bit more credible than Mr. Six Eyewitnesses that many of us discredited in what, four minutes?

OK Acorn, I've been pondering this all day, and yes, I think you're right - it's a family member. My reasons for thinking this is, who else would be AFRAID to come forward sooner? Secondly, I've been waiting for one of the kids to break. I don't know how they could possibly keep up the facade, how they could sit back and watch their parents give away their inheritence, their integrity, reputation, and dignity for a killer. I know I would support my parents, but at the same time, I could never live the lie day after day, witnessing so many lives destroyed because nobody would face the truth. But, that's just me........we'll see.

I haven't heard mention of Anne Bird in relation to the program MSNBC is airing tonight.. why do you assume she has anything to do with the content? How can you purport to "know that he is innocent"? Were you present at Scott & Laci's home on 12/23 - 12/24 between the hours of 8:30 p.m. and 9:48 a.m.? Were you with Scott after that ( at his warehouse, on his trip to the Bay, on his trip home)? At the moment, Scott stands convicted of double homicide, he is legally guilty. It appears to me you believe he is factually innocent.. JMO

Just how do you know that ISP is innocent? I've yet to read anything to show that to me. And by "read", I mean testimony. Still waiting, all these years and not one molecule.

I could give a link about begging for contributions from SOME people. Don't know of any regarding Anne. Sad isn't it? Feeling free in defending a double murderer by denigrating good and honest people. My opinion, of course, but as Lav said earlier, those straws are very hard to hold on to.

Dan Abrams show is on right now but he's talking about Karl Rove's resignation. Boring!
Anyone else on the Pacific Coast time?

This wasn't meant to be a thread about Anne. I brought her up because another poster had made a rude insinuation about a "large shawdow" being Marlene. I merely implied back that it could very well be Anne.
However, to dwell on this a bit more, I have to ask how you know Anne was so truthful? She does come off as quite the saint in her book, I know, but that doesn't mean squat. HER opinion.
As far as me "knowing" Scott is innocent....yes I do "know it" and it is not just my opinion nor is it that I think he is "factually" innocent although that certainly applies and goes hand in hand with what I "know".
I don't have to argue my points, state my reasons or debate them. We are on opposite sides of the fence and will remain so. But every now and then, I do post just to throw some reality into the mix. Not everything is what you think it is and time will prove to you that in so many,many areas, you have been completely off the mark in your assessment. One day, it can all be made public and sooner rather than later.
So now I will bow out again and you can carry on with your forum. Oh...my source or link? It's in the papers sitting in front of me which sadly, cannot be revealed. As far as me "knowing" Scott is innocent....yes I do "know it" and it is not just my opinion nor is it that I think he is "factually" innocent although that certainly applies and goes hand in hand with what I "know".
I don't have to argue my points, state my reasons or debate them. We are on opposite sides of the fence and will remain so. But every now and then, I do post just to throw some reality into the mix. Not everything is what you think it is and time will prove to you that in so many,many areas, you have been completely off the mark in your assessment. One day, it can all be made public and sooner rather than later.
So now I will bow out again and you can carry on with your forum. Oh...my source or link? It's in the papers sitting in front of me which sadly, cannot be revealed. I presume you will all cackle and howl now about what a loser I am and phoney and so forth. Go ahead if it makes you feel better. It won't bother me in the least.

I would appreciate you losing the insults, on posters here and others without a link. She didn't come off as a saint, nor did she make herself out to be a saint, IMO. I have empathy, I read nothing but honesty in Anne's book. Can you refute any of it? And actually it does mean "squat" -- it shows you ... never mind.
I have to say, these teases really bite. For crying out loud, now to gang members, a bigger blight than ISP.
