Nannie Doss?

Hi guys and gals here at crime library. I have been reading over the past few nights different cases from the past. and present. still have trouble understanding man's inhumanitie to man.
Anyway, I have a little problem I read a book a few years ago about women who kill and in it was an excerpt about Nannie Doss, I read it and felt very sorry for this poor little woman who just couldnt seem to stop killing. there was an interview with her before she was executed.
Now thats my problem in this book it states she got the death penalty and was executed in the electric chair. the case study here says that she died in prison of natural causes.
In the book i read other victims were mentioned and another husband actually survived.

so has the author of this book got his facts wrong? and if so why wasnt it picked up during proof reading?

sunday

And now for the rest of the story...

She was sent to prison for life in 1964/65. She succumbed to Leukemia the following year. The papers dubbed her "The Giggling Granny" and "The Jolly Black Widow," as well as "Arsenic Annie."
