Question Any Information About Ines Garcia?

Does anyone have any information about the Ines Garcia case, which was quite a feminist cause celebre in the early seventies? I have not been able to find any online information about this woman.
I'll tell you what I know: Ines Garcia was a woman in her mid-twenties who lived, I believe, in the Los Angeles area. She was gang-raped by a group of seven or eight men. After the assault, she went home, retrieved her rifle, got in her truck, and hunted down the rapists. She killed some of them. As far as I know, she won the case on appeal.
Does anyone have any further knowledge of this case (which was detailed in an early seventies issue of "Ms." magazine)? Where is Ines now? Any details are greatly appreciated!
