Question italian heritage

i was born with surname ( sassarino ) but was put up for adoption in new york now my question is does anyone have any idea how to find a name like this because all the geneology places all come up blank,i cant seem to find my heritage anywhere and its very bothersome so if anyone has an idea please help!! joe

You are fortunate to know your surname ! My records were sealed back in the very early 70's...adoption out of Ill. I have written several letters trying to get my "real" birth-certifate. According to Ill. I never exhisted by my birth name. For me I had to pull up my own boot-strapps and accept that I will not find my family. I made new family. They have lots of hair and don't mind eating off the floor. ***tee hee. The best family are the ones you can choose yourself I believe this...I have to. With all my heart I wish for you Joe, happy inside yourself. peace be with you

seems we have alot in comman i did find out from new york records my name does exist there but seems to be no relatives wierd huh??
