Kristen Gilbert was a nurse at a VA hospital in Massachusetts who killed her patients in the ICU for the adventure of it. The motive is a tossup. Maybe for the thrill of inventing a medical crisis. Maybe for self gratification. Maybe for some kind of sexual thrill. It has been debated over and over and no one has the definative answer. Unless the person with the answer is reading this article as I am typing.
