I'd like to comment on the article about the two Teaches from Laurens County SC.I have lived here all my life, and the only racism that I've encountered comes from the blacks.I have yet to meet any black person who is afraid to speak out in our County. They are usually very vocal about any incident that happens. Bell Street school has been segregated since the early 70's, at least.I, for one, am sick of hearing about racism in this county. Even if the Teachers are guilty, they still deserve their day in court, just like everyone else. If it had been a black teacher, it would have been handled the very same way.I won't call any names, but some people here use situations like this one to put all the spotlight on themselves. My big question is, why a 15 year old is at Bell Street School? I guess I better not comment on that,might turn into a big fiasco.
