Listed children and suspect were last seen in Waitsburg, Wa. at approximately 1600hrs on Saturday, March 24, 2007. Suspect is children's biological father. Due to recent mental issues we believe the children are in immediate danger.

Victim 1, Lars Baugher is described as being a 2 year old White male, Blonde hair, Green eyes, 2'7". 29lbs Wearing: Brown or green jacket, blue jeans, black Converse shoes

Victim 2, Remi Baugher is described as being a 4 year old white female, Blonde hair, Hazel eyes, 3'1". 37lbs Wearing: Pink jacket w/heavier yellow jacket over the top, blue jeans, Strawberry Shortcake shoes

Suspect 1, John Baugher. is described as being a 34 year old male, White with Brown hair, and Green eyes, Weighing (Aprox): 140lbs.

Incident Summary: 03-27-2007 @ 2000 HRS; Tips from the public have enabled us to confirm that John and the kids were all together this afternoon at a fast food restaurant in Missoula, MT. We are continuing to follow up with Missoula authorities and FBI.

the amber alert has been expanded in this case due to a surveillance camera spotting of john baugher with the two children, in Pierre. he has attempted to alter remi baugher's appearance by dying her hair a darker color and dressing her as a boy. john, the father is growing a beard.

and once again, if the federal government managed the "NALC/USPS CHILD ALERT PROGRAM" so it functioned at the level of efficiency it's intended, instructed, and annually funded the missing children flyers of these two children and a photo id of the suspect would already be posted and displayed in every post office in the country (and especially in the area where the abduction and sighting occurred). the missing persons notices would be posted in every post office lobby and workroom floor area (so letter carriers could view them before and after their routes).

thank heavens, two more located quickly, in large part due to the amber alert; however, did anyone see any of the "postal bulletin" notices of the two children in any post office (as instructed in the "NALC/USPS CHILD ALERT PROGRAM")? if you did see one of the NCMEC printed "Emergency E-Mail" missing child Postal Bulletin notice of these two children please let me know. all information will be part of a study being done by a national 501(c)(3) charity. so far only five of just over 2,000 post offices (located in ten states) have any type missing child notice display in the "post-office-box section of the lobby. according to the "instructions for the Postal Bulletin NALC/USPS CHILD ALERT PROGRAM" within 24 hours of the reported missing child every post office in the country is directed to display the missing child notice in the lobby and workroom floor area (so the letter carriers can view the flyer before and after their route).
next time you go to the post office check the lobby and see if there's any missing children posters displayed, and then let me know what you found and the zip code.
