PR: Another Child Dead From Alleged Child Abuse

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The 31-month-old alleged victim of child abuse who was brought to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital Thursday was pronounced clinically dead late last night.

The official cause of Anthony Westbrooks’ death has not yet been determined.

His mother, Aja Westbrooks, and her live-in boyfriend, Larry Cook, II, were jailed Friday night. Each is charged with one count of aggravated child abuse and one count of aggravated child neglect.
