PR: Police Seek Assistance In Locating Missing Woman

Fairfax County Virginia

News Release 2/23/2007


Woman Missing Since August 26
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a Kingstowne-area woman who has been missing since Saturday, August 26. She was last seen around 11:30 a.m. in her home in the 6200 block of William Edgar Drive. She may appear confused and is in need of her medication. Her family believes she may have wandered away and is concerned for her safety.

Qaisra Khan, 50, is a White female, 5 feet 3 inches tall and 150 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark green and black dress and a light green shawl.

If you have any information about this person, please contact Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131.


Update – Woman Still Missing
Qaisra Khan, may also go by Qaisra Shahbaz, who was last seen on Saturday, August 26, 2006, has still not returned home. Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating her. No reports or sightings have occurred since she was reported missing. If citizens think they may have information about this woman, the police and family members are asking them to call Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131.

any update on this disappearance?

i checked the missing person files on the national clearinghouse for missing adults web site and didn't find her missing person info listed (under both possible names), has she been found?

sorry my mistake, she is listed in the NCMA missing person files, she is still missing.

It has been awhile since she has become missing. I hope she is OK!! I wonder if this have happened before. If she has wondered off before I mean?
They say the first 48 hours a critical in a missing persons case. For her familys sake I hope they find her soon! To here family : my prayers are with you .
