Very interesting, I saw one of his interviews, the one where Richard got POed at the reporter, that was one scary guy.

I was rummaging through some of my grandma's old Readers Digest, and came accross the one (can't remember the year) that had the story on the deputy who dedicated his career on catching Richard Kuklinski. I couldn't believe how cold, and calculating this monster was. He did most of his murders for hire, and he killed ALOT of people, in the most disgusting, heartless ways. One of the most shocking, in this article, was when he put cianide, mixed with water in a spray bottle, and would casually, out in the open, spray someone really quickly, and make it look look like a natural death. There is alot of other disgusting ways he killed people that gives me the dry heaves. I wish I could erase it from my memory. I am sooo greatful, to that deputy, for getting this monster off the streets.
Does anyone know what eventually happened to him, if he is still alive in prison, or what? Is he on death row? He should be.

He died of unknown causes in Trenton NJ in 2006.
Here's an interesting web page about him.

In the original HBO interview, his wife said they had a normal family life except for him disappearing for long periods of time after receiving mysterious phone calls, but in truth, she was so afraid of him that she did not tell the truth about him until after he was dead.
He was extremely physically and mentally abusive, and in fact had another family before them that he abandoned. She was very young when she met him - IIRC, 17 - and was too naive to realize he was very dangerous. By the time she realized what was going on, she knew she could not leave him. He would always be around until he died or was arrested.

I've seen the HBO special where Parker Dietz interviews him and explains to him how he was made evil by what his father did to him. Gut wrenching...

That poor woman!!!! I can't believe she stayed with him that long. I think if it were me, I would have gone to the police with the kids, and gone under the protection program. How many kids did they have? I just know about that one daughter.

Very smart thinking, Sarasidle. He could very well be the one who done in Jimmy Hoffa. He has the perfect background to fit the profile. From Reader's Digest story I read, Kuklinski was a HUGE burley dude.

How sad, and SICK!!!! So this evil was passed on by his father? Was his father also a murderer? It is amazing what gets passed on down the family line, both good, and sometimes evil.

I know the question on whether his dad was a killer was stupid; I just didn't know if Richard was a murder for hire kind of guy, had family connections to the mafia. That's why I was wondering.........

Jimmy H's disappearance has intrigued me. It was SUCH a good set up after all these years and we still don't know fer sure who dun it.
Now that's professional!

He Never Was a Member Of Any Crew He Never Hung Around With "Wise guy's"
He Didn't Really Like Them And Also That's How He Was So Elusive From The Authority's They Had Know Idea He Even Existed.

I will NEVER understand your warped obsession with R.R. so please keep your psycho opinions about him to yourself, unless you ACTUALLY have something that is of WORTH for us to read. If you have read all of what we all have said on this subject so far, you wouldn't have made that dumb statement.
