Psychic, Dorothy Allison

http://jonbenetramsey.pbwiki.com/Can...e%20JBR%20Case

http://www.crimelibrary.com/graphics...ketch(150).jpg

I admit she was pretty close; her sketch looked a lot like Karr and believed the killer had connections to Georgia where Karr used to live and Germany or its neighboring countries where Karr used to work as a school teacher. Her talents may not be that explicit or precise, since some answers came into conflicting to some questions, but pretty close. I am not sure about the number 2-8-9, maybe it somehow relate to address, phone number, or something. But the name Martin, maybe close to “Mark” Karr or “Mervin” Linda’s husband, the handyman as this psychic believed the killer was a former handyman? I wonder if there any connections between Karr to Linda and Mervin as two gentlemen and a note writer? I am amazed how close she was; maybe these answers were all she could gather even if they were uncompleted, but some of her puzzles may be still helpful somehow. I am skeptical about psychics but this one is interesting. I haven’t seen any depth discussions in some forums about clues base on her psychics, or maybe I am missed it, but like to see your thoughts about her abilities relating to this case.

Personally, I don't believe in psychics but I do believe in intuition (knowing something with the 'knowing' coming from within and no way to explain it or produce evidence of it). I did go to the link and read what was posted, but I don't think she was that 'on' in her sketch.

I have to disagree. I think the sketch and Merv look freakishly alike. I always have. I, on the other hand, didn't think it looked like John Mark Karr only because in 1996, he didn't look anything like he does now. IMO.

I meant to say that I didn't think it resembled Karr, I have no opinion about Merv at this time... Sorry for the confusion

I've always thought it looked like Merv but I think it's interesting that different posters have other opinions. Eye of the beholder, I guess...

Umm, I don't think I have seen any pictures of Mervin and I do not know what he looked like. If his appearances are similar to the sketch, then I wonder if Dorothy have seen or met Mervin before? Where can I find pictures of Mervin?

About 3/4 of the way down. There are bigger versions of this picture around but I can't find them quickly.

FWIW, I think the resemblance is uncanny. And if you combine "M" from "Martin" with the first part of "Irving" you get -- "Mirv". Okay, sorry, I'm getting carried away.

Lol, but it somewhat compatible to her psychic, so your not really carried away. What about this clue, 2-8-9? Linda does look kinda similar to Patsy if both have similar weighs or sizes from distance, which neighbors may have thought Linda was Patsy, or Linda may be pretending to be Patsy since the evidences of killer's activities on the scene suggested the killer was comfortable being in the house. Well, Linda & Mervin already moved up higher on my suspicions list.

Ewww no. Linda and Patsy looked nothing alike. Patsy was very well kept. Slender. Quite pretty. Linda was extremely unkempt looking, overweight, not a very pretty woman at all. Reminded me of the lady that always comes on TV when the tornado hits the trailer parks (no offense to southern people or trailer park people intended). IMO.

Lol, the picture looks so small and vague, it hard for me to view Linda's figures clearly. I thought the similars were the colors of hair, curly hair, and some of chubby between them, but Linda looked bigger, of course. I don't know her or her personalities, but I wonder if she anything like to that character, Annie Wilkes, in movie, "Misery"....

Not to get off subject, but doesn't it seem like trailer parks have a magnetic effect on tornados???? Yes, I lived in a singlewide for ten years, so I had an interest in what causes and attracts tornados. Until we moved out of ours, I stopped wearing undershirts around and forbade my wife to put her hair into curlers. It just seemed like a sensible precaution.

Funny. Always good to see some humor on these boards once in a while!

I wouldn't put any stock at all in anything a "psychic" has to say regarding the crime against JonBenet. The evidence speaks for itself and doesn't require a psychic to understand.

I don't know about you or others, but I am still having difficulty understanding the evidences in this case or unable interpreting some to most of them. Even many people have different versions to what happened or who did it. Then came along this psychic may help solving one of the greatest mysteries in decades, even she might be both right and wrong, or close enough. There were cases successfully solved by psychics in past and I don't have ideas how they did it or use their special ability.

I have to admit that I am by nature very skeptical of people claiming Psychic Powers to help solve mysteries; on the other hand I remember that during the Green River Murders in the Seattle, Washington area the detectives made use of psychics at times; in one instance a psychic correctly identified a body dumping site; as I remember two or three remains were found close-by. So I refuse to dismiss the theory out of hand. In the Jonbenet case where there has been ten years with no resolution or arrests, it would not shock or dismay me to find investigators using psychics to try to find new leads or ideas. I myself have no prime suspect to point at and any number who could be. Most have probably been looked at repeatedly, from different angles, yes maybe even the psychic angle. Personally, I hope the DNA found on Jonbenet is truly conclusive, so that should her killer ever be arrested elsewhere on one charge or another that a match can be made--game over. But that may be a vain hope; what if it is just artifact DNA?; or what if no match is ever made?

No one is dumb enough to build houses in a tornado belt, but they are dumb enough to set up trailer parks there.
And they wonder why they got the land for such a bargain.

Info about psychic detective in somewhat depth
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychic_detective

What Mark Klaas has to say about them
http://www.klaaskids.org/pg-mc-hazards.htm

I guess if psychics are only interest in money before, then there's no point to ask for their help since I would prefer to have compassion psychics whom would rather to solve the crimes or cases to get the rewards afterward....
