IPSWICH, England — Earlier this week police arrested Steve Wright, 42, after DNA evidence and surveillance footage linked him to at least one of the Suffolk strangler victims. Following his arrest, he was charged with all five murders. Prosecutor Michael Crimp said there was "sufficient evidence" linking him to the murders. "As the case has developed we have been carefully examining and assessing the evidence in order to come to a charging decision at the earliest possible opportunity," Crimp told the Associated Press. Police are now trying to link Wright to at least five other murders, going back 14 years.

HOUMA, La. — It has been nearly a month since suspected serial killer Ronald Joseph Dominique, 42, was arrested and he continues to grab headlines. Since his arrest, new details have come to light, including allegations that Dominique had been accused of rape on two separate occasions before he killed his first victim. The Daily Comet and the Courier newspapers are both reporting two separate incidents, in which allegations were made to police and they neglected to make an arrest. The officer who handled both cases died in 2003 and Butch Naquin, the Lafourche District Attorney at the time, said he has no knowledge of the cases. Ronald Dominique was indicted on nine counts of first-degree murder earlier this month. Held in lieu of a $9 million bond, he has yet to enter a plea.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Daytona Beach police, along with state investigators, are asking for the public's help in identifying a serial killer who has murdered at least three women between December and February of 2005. The victims —Laquetta Gunther, 45, Julie Green, 34, and Iwana Patton, 35 — were all shot in similar fashion. An expert from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement reviewed the crimes and made the determination that a serial killer was responsible for the murders. Investigators have the killer's DNA, however they have been unable to find a match within their computer databases. No new leads have been coming in and unless the killer is caught for an unrelated crime, authorities may not be able to catch him unless he strikes again.
