Hey crimehunter!
Good sites! Some Sherlock Holmes at mysterynet.com
That coldserial site is http://www.coldserial.net/
Interesting note about how many serial killers are caught by some fluke=like a minor traffic stop.

Hi everyone.. new to the site!!!
I came across this website quite by accident. As I was watching the news on CNN about the "lucky" victim Natascha Kampusch who escaped alive and well after 8 years of captivity, I searched the web for the latest news about her. The links about similar kidnappings brought me to Crimelibrary.
Reading about the other crimes, some really monstrous and bizarre makes me wonder if those things really did happen and if people really did those things. Of course, they did but it is so remote and unreal to me.
I wonder what are the chances of an average normal real person in the street actually getting abducted, restrained, tortured, mutilated and murdered. I hope the chances are low.

Like I didn't have enough to keep me occupied on line and as excuses for avoiding housework, you guys have to come up with a "new" forum and more websites!
What's a girl to do? LOL
