I'm surprised that no one has posted about this. It certainly sounds to me as if Arndt thinks that PR is innocent. And from what PR said to Arndt just after the murder, it sounds as if she is innocent.

I wonder how she now feels about JR. I remember how she said she looked into his eyes across JBR'sbody and was just sure he was guilty. Didn't she say something linke "I wasw mentally counting the rounds in my weapon..." or something like that after JR brought the body up from the basement?

I'll certainly be interested in reading her memior.

Actually there was a TV interview she did where it was very clear that she believed JR killed JBR and Patsy had no knowledge of it. It was posted here before - I'll see if I can find it.

Although I lean towards IDI I could believe JR killed JBR without Patsy's knowledge with evidence. For an example if those fibers found in her vagina were proven to match JR's shirt I'd change my IDI mind in a heartbeat. No way though do I believe Patsy had anything to do with her daughter's death and would have to admit I would be totally SHOCKED if she did if it turned out there is evidence against them.

The reason I lean so strongly towards IDI because there has been no evidence that the Ramseys were involved in JBRs death but allow room for error. JMO

At 1:01 p.m., “I heard a noise then heard and saw Fleet run to the phone in the den. He was crouched and I saw him dial three numbers, hang up the phone, yell ‘we need an ambulance’ and run back to the front of the house.”
She then saw Ramsey carrying his daughter’s body up the stairs from the basement.
“I saw black with thousands of lights and everything that I had noted that morning that stuck out instantly made sense,” Arndt says. “JonBenét was clearly dead and had been dead for a while.
“I leaned down to her face and John leaned down opposite me and his face was just inches from mine. We had a nonverbal exchange that I will never forget and he asked if she was dead and I said yes, she’s dead, and I told him to go back to the room and to dial 911.
“As we looked at each other and I remember — I wore a shoulder holster — tucking my gun right next to me and consciously counting out the 18 bullets.”
When asked why, Arndt said, “Cause I didn’t know if we’d all be alive when people showed up. I knew what happened, I knew what happened to her.”
Vargas: Do you think your fear was well founded?
Arndt: You bet I do. There’s no doubt in my mind.
Vargas: To this day?
Arndt: Never wavered.
Vargas: Do you think he knew what you suspected?
Arndt: I hope he didn’t. I hoped he didn’t.
Vargas: Why?
Arndt: I needed him not to know what I felt.
Vargas: What you suspected?
Arndt: What I believed.

Thanks for posting that Athena. I'm wondering what interpretation others have put on what Arndt said Patsy said -- asking her earnestly to find out "who did this to JBR." Did she truly have no clue? Was she in denial? Did she really think JR did it and wanted him caught but did not want to cntribute to it herself? What are the secrets Patsy had lived with for 10 years? I guess we'll have to read Arndt's book to see what she though. Sheesh, I sound like a promo spot for the book!!

Good thing Fleet White practiced calling 911 from their house 3 days earlier so he would know just what to do when they found her body.

Good to see LA was not at all bias in her thinking in this case, or trigger happy.
I had some stuff stolen from the garage in my apartment recently, and as soon as I discovered it, I was sure it was probably one of a few tenants. I was furious, knocking on doors. The apartment was gated and there was only one way of getting in and it was long and would have been very difficult carrying out this large container unnoticed.
Well it turned out someone did notice, and it was some stranger. And here I was looking in windows of neighbors trying to spot my stuff. It's a good tthing I didn't accuse anyone to their face.
What I learned is a lot of things race threw your head at the scene of a crime even as petty as burglary. It is easy for me to imagine LA freaking at that moment, and it leaving a bad taste in her mouth.
