O.J. Simpson to discuss killings
The two-part interview, titled "O.J. Simpson: If I Did It, Here's How It Happened," will air Nov. 27 and Nov. 29, the TV network said.

Who cares? Unless OJ is going to flat-out confess, I am not interested in anything he has to say or do!

The only thing I didn't expect was the interview.
I wonder what Galanter will say now.
I guess we will see him on every talk show...
But Galanter vows, "If anyone comes out with such a book, I'll go on every talk show and call it crap."

I am disgusted by this publicity stunt and cannot understand where he is coming from. Is he going to really tell us how we "would have" committed the crime? Even if he did not do it (and he did), how sick is that to put yourself into the mind of a killer and tell us what you would have done? I wish he would go away, because he has lost all sense of credibility in our society.

I agree, this is typical of his sick mind. Makes me think that he has spent a great deal of time over the past months/years thinking (or reliving) this gruesome deed. What kind of mind would willingly want to relive all that horror?
My question is what type of financial gain is there in this, and how long will it take for the Goldman/Brown contingent to take this to court to stop him from reaping benefits? I hope they are in discussions NOW to keep him from gaining a cent off of this fiasco.

seems like it but in that busness ,entertainmant, telling a lie is quite normal. sometimes people have good reasons for telling lies.
I don't believe any of it until it happens. Especially since FOX is involved and Judith Ragan. She played the other woman in a affair with the now ex n.y. city police commissioner (a felon i thinK) Bernie Klerick (sp)

Martin,
In that business? Yale Galanter is in that business? I thought he was a defense attorney? I will never believe another word he says.
Well, you didn't believe it was true before. Turns out, the National Enquirer isn't as deceptive as Yale Galanter and his murderous client.
OJ is the lowest of the low.

Taz,
Yale would not be the first lawyer or advisor not to know of their client's plan until it was too late. Perfect example, Princess Diana's advisor, Patrick Jepson (sp?)--he quit after she did that TV interview.
I can't imagine he would go on TV and say that if he knew what was happening. Remember, Gloria Allred ditched the Brown family after they sold private mementos of Nicole's life. It happens.

This is not the first time this has happened with these two. And, he said he would go on all the talk shows and call it a lie (or to repeat his words call it crap). He knows better than to say something like that.
So, I still can't ever believe Yale Galanter again. Since "oj doesn't tell him the truth".

Perhaps Fred Goldman should do a follow-up interview and title it "If I Ever Killed OJ, Here's How I'd Do It".

I really didn't believe it mainly because saying IF I DID IT for many will be a confession of in fact i did it.
But then no one offered me $3.5 million to put my name on such a tease.

Re: O.J. Simpson to discuss killings
I wonder if OJ understands that there is no limitation on being charged with murder...if there is more evidence...wonder if......this somehow could implicate him? OJ have you checked with your attorney b/4 releasing this?
While I really haven't seen this b/4, this brings me back to what Nancy Grace has been saying, saying and saying....'they just can't keep quiet when talking about the crime they committed.' While I was quite convinced OJ was fairly acquitted..now, I have to take a closer look at his guilt.

OJ was charged and acquitted. He can drop the How I would
have done it crap and just call it like it is, How I did do it,
and there's not one thing that can be done to him. Double
Jeapordy applies. It's possible he could be charged with perjury
for depo's given during the civil trial, but that's it. He can tell
the world he murdered two people in cold blood and he will
remain a free man.

They say money makes people do crazy things.
If O.J Simpson was paid $3.5 million then I understand why he wrote the book- that is some Pay Day

That may be how you look at it. The interviewer, publisher, FOX,
ratail book store and the promoter are also involved in this effort.
Everyone is trying to make big bucks in this deal.
If it turns out to be true that he is getting $3.5 mill i am sure that money will go to a off shore account and out of reach of any creditors.imo

From CCN:
Judith Regan, whose ReganBooks imprint is publishing the book, declined to reveal further details of the book's contents.
"This is an historic case, and I consider this his confession," Regan told The Associated Press. She also refused to say what Simpson is being paid for the book but said he came to her with the idea.

According to O J Simpson's attorney (just on Catherine Crier) his kids are behind the project 100%.
O J Simpson isn't confessing, he's merely speculating on how he would have approached the difficult task of commiting the perfect murder.

He didn't "commit" the perfect murder. Far from it. He left evidence everywhere. He just got lucky with some boneheaded jurors. imo

Good for you. I do find it odd that you use the patriotic icon in support of denying the Goldman's what was awarded to them in a court of law.

That's probably the reason for the new book. He's had plenty of time to rethink how he could done it even better.
