Micheal 'Ross' Stratton MONSTER

I am new to the whole forum experience and hope that I am not supposed to leave a two word response.
I have just learned of a most horrible person up here in Canada that lives in Ontario (above NYC) His name is Micheal 'Ross' Straton. He has been arrested on over 280 charges, ranging from over 80 counts of child molestation to over 80 counts of basically FILMING the molestations.I am sickened. I am absolutely out of my mind trying to imagine for a fraction of a second, why someone would feel compelled to do something like that. But I am most curious as to why he hasn't been killed yet. I mean really.
I have been researching some of the deaths of innocent kids while in the custody of the police. some were handcuffed and shackled at the ankles. Some had their back to the officer that shot them. (sometimes as many as three times). One boy opened a beer at a hockey game and was arrested and twenty minutes later, he was dead. Shot in the back of the head.
So that brings me back to My main query. Why do good people get killed, ie: John Lennon of the Beatles, Pope John Paulof the Vatican, Kevin St. Arnaudof Vanderhoof, Darren Varley of Pincher Creek Alta.,Ian Bush of Houston BC (the opener of the beer that was his fate). And leave Micheal 'Ross' Stratton to his business? I don't get it.
