Bana, Howard Track BTK Killer -- Ridley Scott will produce and perhaps direct

Eric Bana and Terrence Howard are circling "Factor X," a fact-based drama set up at New Line.

The project, which focuses on the BTK serial killer, who operated out of Wichita from 1974 through 1991 before being captured in 2005.

I was very interested in this case because of the time periods involved and was wondering how he managed not to get dna tested despite his proximity to the victims. was this purely a bad job on the part of the police force?
