"Outrage"

Have any of you read Vincent Bugliosi's "Outrage"? If so what did you think of it? Myself, I already knew there was no doubt as to Simpson's guilt, but hearing an experienced prosecutor's take on it (someone with no particular axe to grind in this case, BTW), I'm still as angry as he is.

Simpson has literally gotten away with murder. Be assured, however, his victims will not be forgotten by those who care.

Better to be famous for being an articulate former prosecutor than a nasty double murderer.

I read VB's book years ago & I thought it was quite good. He knows a murderer when he sees one.

To me, supporters of a guilty opinion of Simpson are possessed of common sense. I'll always support folks like that, yup. I, too, think that all the players involved in the Simpson circus are to blame for this travesty of justice.

nettathirty, I have a question: may I ask, respectfully, how one can convict a condemned man?.....unless he's already been convicted once, condemned, and on trial again, a la Charles Manson or Ted Bundy. I bet you think those monsters are innocent too, right?

Of course Bugliosi has an axe to grind. He is a former prosecutor.

I don't know if you have ever met any state prosecutors or former prosecutors, but I know who you haven't met - any state prosecutors who will admit they or the state made a mistake in their prosecution of any accused..

And defense lawyers ONLY represent innocent people.

poohbear,

Why would I think, Ted Bundy and Charles Manson were innocent?

nettathirty, I was being sarcastic. I apologize.

I was asking people their opinion of Bugliosi's book, not Bugliosi himself. Thanks.

I agree and yes I read the book. Some think an arrogant rant but I think had Bugliosli still been an active prosecutor OJ would be wearing an orange jumpsuit right now. Guilty and Guilty for the murders of Nicole and Ron...no doubt in my mind.
