Ashton Glover is missing Texas teen
She's been gone for a couple of days. Crime Library will have a full story on her tomorrow.

The last time anyone saw Ashton Glover was around 12:30 a.m. on July 8, 2006. She was seen climbing into a light-colored Toyota pickup with two men, according to her friends. Friends also reported that Ashton may have known one of the men.
Ashton’s truck, maroon-colored with Texas license plate 02G-NZ1, was parked at It’s a Grind Coffee Shop. Some time before 2 a.m. on the 8th, Ashton’s truck vanished as well.
Ashton, age 16, was out driving her 2004 extended-cab Ford Ranger in the mud (‘mudding’) with some friends Friday night, July 7, 2006.
Glover missed her midnight curfew, and her worried mother, Sue Smith, began calling Ashton’s cell phone. As the hours wore on and Ashton failed to answer, worry inevitably grew.
Texas Equusearch was involved in the hunt for Ashton Glover by Sunday, July 9, setting up a command center, according to Houston TV station KHOU, in the 3300 block of Austin Parkway in Sugar Land. On Sunday searchers were using all-terrain-vehicles and radio-controlled aircraft, and early Monday, July 10, KHOU reported that boats would be searching via the Brazos River, as well.
KHOU reported that one distinctive thing about Ashton Glover’s maroon Ford pickup was a “steer sticker” in the rear window. On that sticker was the word “Lonestar.”
