----------------
I found several things about this entry to be "strange" I'll explain...
1. Q-mis (Tara was referred to by her students as Ms. Grinstead, I'm not sure what the Q might mean.
2. The first sentence is an apology ...not so unusual, but this one is followed by "I had "it" happen to me too" . ( She doesn't elaborate?).
3. Several misspelled words. (Common words like sorry, happen, living ) yet this person was smart enough to use the correct too in her sentence. Not to mention using all caps (shouting to get someones attention..maybe?) throughout , but manages to type China correctly.
4. She states that she is NOW living in China , but she is not a "China person" (who would write something like that to someone you don't even know, unless you want them to know who you are and where you are without telling everyone! IMO
5. Last sentence is " I used to live in the U.S OR .P.S I hope you find her. (I think its meant to look like she's referring to Oregon, but really if you read between the lines, it says I used to live in the U.S or P.S I hope you find her. I think she is making a connection between finding her and "I used to live in the U.S. (IMO)
6. Last but not least...its interesting that she gives her whereabouts (Now living in China) after saying.."Just so you ALL know" . (Is she referring to family and friends maybe?)

Hi- I just found this.....I thought you might find it interesting as well...QMIS is abbr. for a school in China that teaches international children (in English also). Tara is a teacher, right? I pray that someone will really look into this, If anything, just to let the family know she's OK......even if she did leave on her own.
Here's the link....

I'd like to add:
The last sentence of the guestbook entry includes this:
I AM FROM USA OR.
After seeing that Luckyswife suspected a reference to OREGON, the state: I would like to add the fact that the registered sex offender who lived in Tara's neighborhood and then MOVED out was convicted of his crime in the state of OREGON!
Luckyswife speculated the use of the letters [OR] could be meant to make it look like the state the person is from, but since it was speaking of clues being given, perhaps it was meant to be read as a bigger clue as to where another person is from?
OR= Oregon= the state the registered sex offender was convicted in back in 1995 before moving to Ocilla. ( not sure what year he moved all the way across the country to small town Ocilla?)
Convicted of sex abuse III in Oregon in 1995.
Royce Franklin Martin=registered sex offender now living at 245 Clark Howell Road in Ocilla, GA, previously of 710 S. Alder St. Ocilla.
If we theorized that Tara was taken against her will, we could speculate (not likely, but purely speculation)this was from Tara in some cryptic form. It would mean her captor allowed her to type a message on her own missing persons board? Stranger things have happened. In order to be able to be allowed to send it, maybe (in speculation only) she had to play dumb and make it look like she was sending a well wish, but got in a few clues?
In another angle, we could also speculate that perhaps somebody living in China (or wherever) once lived in OR (Oregon) and this happened to them there??? If so, by whom? And what made them look at Tara's guest book? Could this person have been taken by the same person who may have Tara? If so, this means the captor doesn't want to kill, but to keep for some reason. If this theory were true, it's a good sign that the person this happened to is alive and well enough to post, meaning if the same person has Tara, she, too, has a chance to get away.
In yet another angle , if Tara left on her own, is she letting her friends and family know her whereabouts? Perhaps after looking at missing persons websites, she knew in advance that a guestbook would be set up for kind prayers and wishes for the family and took the opportunity to communicate?
If so, it would mean the family had to know of her plans, otherwise they would just assume this was from a person in China? If they knew in advance what to look for, it would mean something to them, but mean nothing to any of us. ( I do not think this is the case, simply an avenue explored.)
Since this was from November, 2005, does anyone know anything more regarding this post?
I know the regular ones who will bash me for the 'out there' speculations, but it's not anything different than what LE is doing to try to find Tara. I hope those of you who are truly here with an open mind can see how deeply many of us are thinking of this case and trying to find an answer. I'd like to say in advance that unless you know exactly where Tara is or what has happened to her, please don't post saying this is far-fetched or impossible. Until Tara is found, or unless you know where she is, nobody knows the answers and my post is speculating about possibilites.
I thought it was important to look at this again, just in case there is one little thing that we should be picking up on.
Maybe it's just what it is....... a post from a china person?
Nothing more to be read into it..............But who calls themselves a china person? If you are from the USA, you are an American living in China, right?
The only time I've ever said I'm not a china person was when speaking about a wedding and NOT needing any china. I said to friends, "I'm getting married, but don't buy me china.
I'm not a china person."
