Car Seat
i used to have a camaro and I would also drive with the seat all the way back. I am 5'4. I believe Tara is 5'3. Anyway I know her car is not a camaro, but her car and a camaro are both low to the ground. It was more comfortable for me to drive that way, b/c the seat is so close to the floor board. When you push the seat up your knees would be in the steering column.

I dont think the Car seating position is important to GBI anyways because if it is then they should have impounded the car from day 1

The latest in the Tara Grinstead investigation with Anita Gatis
Larry Harriet, CourtNet -- Janurary 25th 2006
CourtNet Reporter, Larry Harriet recently did an exclusive interview with Anita Gatis, Tara Grinstead's sister. Below is a rush transcript.
10. What do you make of the car, in which Tara's seat was pushed back like a man was sitting in it, and was unlocked, which was unlike Tara?
Well, I think its suspicious, you know Tara always had her seat pushed up as far as she could and my husband would always tell her that she has to push her seat back because if she gets in a wreck, she could be hurt severely, and the seat looks like it had been pushed back, and then somebody tried to push it up again. Tara always locked her car, so yes, I am suspicious of that.

I guess we'll never know who told whom what to do unless someone chooses to call Mr P. and ask direct questions. But then how do we know if that person really calls and asked those questions? It's a matter of who wants to believe who, IMO.
Kath I suggest that since you want more precise info you give Mr. P a call, same with JDA, MH and HD. I do hope you'll share what you find out. TIA
