Woman Who Beat Jehovah's Witness Gets Jail

Woman Who Beat Jehovah's Witness Gets Jail
CourtTV, NY - 5 minutes ago
(AP) — A woman who used a butcher knife to beat a Jehovah's Witness who knocked on her door on Christmas Day was sentenced to three months in jail. ...
-------

I was a JW for 33 years!

A heads up on the Jehovah's Witnesses.

The Watchtower Corporation (Jehovah's Witnesses) is a media publishing, real estate development, and convention sponsoring company and their literature all promotes the corporation and those goals.

I have Jehovah's Witnesses family in Naples Florida who practice the Watchtower JW enforced ritual shunning that i have not seen or heard from in 15 years.

Yes,you can 'check out anytime you want but you can never leave' they can and will hold your family hostage

To even vocally question the teachings of the Jehovah's Witness organization will result in complete cutting off, with family and friends usually being forbidden to talk to them.

The Watchtower is a truly ORWELLIAN world, in a time when Orwellian societies are nearly obsolete. There are tens of thousands of pages up from disgruntled ex-Jehovah's Witnesses all over the world in many languages.

Are they knocking at your door?

I don't get too many o fthem, but once an older lady came to my door and said "don't you think the world is going to a dark place?" I said no and shut the door.
I think it's actually dangerous and intrusive for anyone to knock on your door these days.

I wouldn't answer the door now days. One walked into the backyard when I was working in the yard and I told them I was a witch - they left.

She needed to go to jail.

She got mad on "What day - Who's Birth?"

That's all I'm going to say.

Peace & Blessings To Everyone.

You know, I always thought, "I'll never be THAT way - why do people feel the need to be nasty with them? They're people, too, you know," until one day, one just would not leave me alone!!

I was out on a walk just trying to get in some exersize, don't remember how long ago it was but it was a few years back, and this guy came off my neighbor's porch. Never seen him before. He smiled at me, waved, so I gave a little wave back and kept on walking by, my mind on what to fix for dinner that night, etc. Well, he said, "Excuse me?" and I kept walking but turned my head back and said, "Yeah?" and he started talking about how the world was a dark place, would I like to have some booklet to read (I'm paraphasing here, not his exact words).

I said, "No thank you, sir. Have a nice day," and continued walking back towards my house, which was in clear view by that time. Well, he just starts walking right behind me!

I'd NEVER had a JW do that to me before and it started to creep me out a little bit. I always thought after you informed them you were not interested, they just left you alone. At least that had been my experiance with them prior to this particular oddball.

He was talking about the JW religion and his booklets and his Watchtower thing the whole time he was following me, and after I reached my yard, I finally did what gm23237 did...

all the way baby!

And you know what? It felt darn good.

Yeah, I remember using that when I lived in Dallas in ~1968.

Goodness that takes me back to when I was a teenager.

We lived in a small town and their were alot of JW in our area. I had good friends who were JW also and quite often their parents would push for me to come with them to their church and learn about them.

Anyhow, a group that used to go door to door kept coming to our house even after my parents telling them not to come around anymore. My mom got fed up one day and told them that I was a witch, she was a Satanist and my sister was Mormon. Needless to say they left with looks of horror and never returned.

And she was always complaining how the world was just getting worse and worse..what a negative person she was..she got me so depressed i stopped all communication with her. and I felt much better in doing so.

Clergy sexual abuse

Jehovah's Witnesses have an absurd in house Church rule requiring 'two witnesses' to acts of sin. This makes it difficult to prosecute secret sins as child molesters rarely provide a 'witness' to their deeds.
Moreover, members are discouraged from going to 'outsiders' the police and reporting sins.

That's it,this is what can make the pedophilia worst among the Jehovah's Witnesses group.

Oh,, i hope you have the courage to report your abuse.. i really do...

I worked in an environment once, that was dictated ,,, by JW's,, and i will never again be subject to such injustice.... now that i know that it is wrong...

It was not sexual or child abuse,, not that , that made it ok, but,, to think that ,, that what may of gone one,, because other ppl, thought it 'politically correct", not to get involved,, well,, lets just say,, that will never happen again,, where i work,..
