Search has ended

Well, the search around the county has been called off, at least for now, since they are saying they have covered the entire area.
This was reported on GVS show.

I find it kind of interesting that no one from LE has come on saying there's been no credit card activity, etc. They usually give us at least that much in other similar cases. They've been very tip lipped, not sure why. Since her purse is missing, I assume they are monitoring credit cards, bank activity, etc.

There's alot that bothers me about this case, especially the clock and LE not even taking her clothes. Was the bedding taken to check for semen since rape would be one obvious motive? I notice her sister has not been on TV any more since she commented about the car seat being moved up. I thought she said that in a sort of off-handed way, like she wasn't really sure about it, so I'm not putting much stock in that. The car door may have not been locked because I think somebody was waiting for her outside, probably with a weapon.

They haven't shown any pictures on TV of the searches, the lake/ponds around there...why the silence. This case isn't all that unusual...if they don't give the media something pretty soon, I'm afraid it will disappear from the radar screen real soon.

Don't worry. No one is going to let this disappear.

I certainly hope the publicity continues; sadly, I've not seen as much the past few days. I'm really wondering if LE knows something...calling off the search seems so "final."

It is impossible not to compare this with other missing persons cases...they say they've searched everywhere, but, just as in Aruba...not every house, or every building, or every body of water around there have been searched, have they? (Not trying to be argumentative here; just wondering about this).

Looks like you're doing it right...welcome. I haven't been here at Tara's forum very long, so I'm not really up to speed on this case. If you look at the different threads, there are probably links to press conferences, if there have been any.

sweettater is an unknown quantity at this point
There's also a messageboard at findtara.com, and a newer one at talktara.com which seems to be getting more traffic now.

Greta was interviewing Tara's ex-boyfriend the other night and something about him bugs me. He just didnt see to be on the up and up with her, I wonder if they are watching him as the main suspect right now, thus the silence?
