SOs At Large After Hurricanes

As much as I dislike Geraldo Rivera, I caught his first show in my area last night. He actually had something of value to report.

2,000 plus registered sex offenders have been shuttled away from the hurricane areas and are now at large in many other states. Local law enforcement agencies have tried to get information from FEMA regarding where these indivduals were moved to, but FEMA will not release the information citing privacy of information.

Rivera highlighted one offender who hooked up with a woman and her 2 (I think) young children - he was living in a FEMA trailer with them.

Convicted felons lose the right to vote - why oh why do SOs and pedophiles have any right at any time in anyplace to privacy of information.
