nothing tops the 70's flick Helter Skelter...with Steve Railsback as Manson.......he was stellar.....next he'll play Robert Blake.

I can't believe it's been 36 years. I remember it like it was yesterday.

I was a two year old when the murders happened........but first heard all about it in early 70's when i watched Helter Skelter as a youngster...it freaked me out.......i drove to 10050 Cielo drive once....a lonnng time ago before they tore down the house and rebuilt it...........Trent Reznor of nine inch nails was living in it at the time. i went at midnight after i sang at a club.....talk about dark, and creeeepy man. Those hills....the hills have eyes.

This means that Sharon Tate would be a senior citizen and the baby would be middle age.

I have a question. I dont know much about the Sharon Tate case at all. I just read that her baby was buried with her and she was holding him in her arms. I dont understand how this is possible if she was pregnant with him at the time of her murder? Can someone please help me out?

My significant other is a member of the Tate family. Thought he was just handing me a line when we met, but he wasn't. His Tate family members don't talk much about Sharon. Mom especially gets upset even today- somehow the topic came up last Thanksgiving and she was really adamant that Manson and the others NEVER deserve to get parole.

So, I asked my s.o. if he ever heard if Sharon was buried with her little boy. He says as far as he knows it is true, that's what he heard growing up. (He was about 4 when Sharon was killed. Says that she even baby-sat him when he was very small. And that Roman Polanski still keeps in touch with the family.)
