GBI Releases New Info In Tara Grinstead Case

[Its just me]

Hey BevAnne and Sara. It is sad about missing Kristi Cornwell. I checked the latest news and it appears her family is continuing to search. As with Tara....I can not imagine what Kristi's loved ones are going thru.

I went thru Perry last week-end and saw the Perry Fair was in town. We came back thru Perry after dark and the fair was all lit up but a sad site to me. I thought about all the people out there having a great time.....and like Tara they didn't know what is in their future. Tara was there having fun in Oct. 2005....and within days she disappeared.

BevAnne we can only pray the GBI will prove to be better than we think they are...and they will determine what happened to Tara and Kristi.

I have little hope that either is still alive....Sincere prayers that someone will accidently find both which would at least allow the families to give them a burial spot.

Prayers for the loved ones left to grieve and wonder.

I hope this is not a bad place and time to post this. I realize the anniversary is on Thursday. I have been reading old posts and links (thank you so much Odette) and some things came to my mind Probably means nothing though.

what ever happened to the video Tara went home to watch? was it found?

Did Tara have a back door that could have been used that night?

I do not still understand why the dog was out. I have read many many times that she was kept inside at night and I am more convinced than ever that this happened on Saturday night.

If anyone has answers I would appreciate it. If not that is okay too

Sara I think it's a good time to post. Things are slow but I'm sure Tara is on many people's mind this week.

Tara's house had a back door but it was not usable....IIRC it had a piece of furniture placed in front of it and I believe it was suppose to be a door to go out to the carport.

The video has been discussed many times but to my knowledge nothing was ever known except Tara said she was going home to watch it. Just an unknown.

Your are right it was posted that the dog was an inside dog.....but I totally disagree and right now I can't remember why I firmly believe Dolly stayed inside the fence in the back yard.

Maybe one day soon God will answer our prayers for true answers to the many questions surrounding Missing Tara Grinstead. God is in control of all things and all things are possible with God. I pray Tara's loved one can at least find some peace knowing He is in control.

Didn't we discuss a long time ago that the video could have been a non-issue and was just Tara's polite way of leaving the party? To me that makes the most sense...it was late and I doubt Tara left something that she was enjoying to go watch a tape of something she just saw.

About Dolly, I'm with ya...I can't really remember anything about that conversation except Mrs. P stating that she was driving her nuts at one point. Can someone remind me of that whole issue?

Hey AMS, With what little we know no one could never put anything together with the video...except Tara said she was going home to watch it. The video may be like the necklace....I'm pretty sure a GBI agent said the board never got it right on the necklace. It's kind of iritating the agent could say we didn't have it right but he couldn't say what was right. Contrary to what he may think....many did not spend time on this board playing games. If the agent didn't have some kind expectation of learning something about the case....why spend time reading here.... and they did read here and read other boards also as they should have because few if any cases are solved without some input from the public. IMHOO the sad part with Tara's case is the public never got one tad of help from the GBI for any possible input. This is also true with the many other unsolved cases with the GBI...they don't even have the decency to give any updates and they are public servants like the rest of the ones getting paid by tax dollars...there is a certain amount of responsibility when one chooses a job where tax dollars pays their salary. IMOO that is just a fact but I don't believe many employed by any field of the government believes a word of it.

I know Mr. P said in the NG interview that Dolly kept Mrs.P up barking a lot in the early hours....but I've never been able to satisfy my mind on which morning Dolly was barking. I called Mrs. P and asked about Dolly barking and she confirmed it did happen but didn't confirm the date. I don't know Mrs. P and respected her enough not to press hard for answers. I asked the question about Dolly barking and accepted the answer she gave me which did not include the date. Always good to see you post and I agree....I appreciate Sara reading and willing to ask a question. fep
